Stevedoring
As Stukwerkers Havenbedrijf NV did grow - together with the Port of Ghent - as from 1338 and 'learned' to handle the different commodities during the years, it is nowadays probably the most diversified stevedore in the Port of Ghent. Following commodities can be handled:
- Iron & steel products ( coils, sheets, plates, beams, wirerods, slabs, billets, blooms, ... )
- Forest Products ( paper, woodpulp, timber, plywood, ... )
- Motorcars & RO/RO handling ( motorcars, H&H, trailers, ...)
- Bulk products ( grains, fertilizers, ... )
