Terminal 1040

Terminal 1040, existing out of 4 sheds, is equipped with 2 ship(un)loaders, a bagging and a bigbag installation and a weighing bridge. Furthermore, shed 1040, with a surface of +/- 7.000 square metres, is specially designed and equipped for the handling and storage of coils. It is fully insulated, air temperature and humidity being permanently monitored and adjusted when necessary by means of heating / drying devices.
The whole area is being serviced by an overhead roller bridge crane with a telescopic coil clamp, having a capacity of
35 tonnes. This dedicated coil-warehouse has a storage capacity of +/- 40.000 tonnes of coils in adjustable beddings. Railway waggons and trucks are being loaded / unloaded inside the warehouse in controlled atmospheric conditions.
The total open quay storage space amounts up to 25.000 square metres, quaylenght +/- 1 km.
